Hope is Growing at Kanura!
In Burundi, one of the poorest countries in the world, students at Kanura School for the Blind are learning to plant crops and provide food for their school. But more than that, they’re planting hope. In 2025, the program has harvested vegetables that helped to feed over 60 students and generated 2 million BIF ($1,000 USD) toward the school’s food budget.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising $3,500 to install a drip irrigation system that will bring steady water to three acres of crops. This will help Kanura School move from two harvests a year to four.
Together, we can strengthen this program, feed more students, and build a sustainable future for Kanura School.
Thank you for standing with the students and staff at Kanura School. Your prayers, generosity, and compassion continue to make a lasting difference.
